For the fifth straight year, DIY Network combed the nation’s decrepit home fronts in search of America’s Most Desperate Landscape. Host Jason Cameron (Man Caves) reviewed entries from viewers coast-to-coast who hoped to win the $25,000 yard makoever. Patty and Cas Stochmal of Derby, Conn., who had Jason and his crew give their yard a major two-day transformation that included creating a new retaining wall out of boulders, a new driveway, new concrete steps, a new walkway to the front door, building a 10×14 screened-in porch, and adding more than 100 plants.
