Dr. Lee must make a special house call to see a woman with stasis dermatitis so severe she’s at risk of losing both legs. In another case, she treats a man whose back and face are covered in hundreds of lipoma tumors.

Season 2 of the musical comedy is set in a reimagined world of 1960s and ’70s musicals, with Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong), after having found true love in Schmigadoon, now in Schmicago. The season will include new original musical numbers from cocreator and executive producer Cinco Paul. Returning along with Strong and Key are Ariana DeBose, Martin Short, Dove Cameron, Jaime Camil, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Ann Harada, Jane Krakowski and Aaron Tveit, with Tituss Burgess and Patrick Page joining the cast. The first two episodes are available today; new episodes drop Wednesdays.

Based on Kwame Alexander’s critically acclaimed and bestselling children’s novel of the same name, which was told entirely through verse, this series introduces teen brothers Josh (Jalyn Hall) and Jordan (Amir O’Neil) Bell, who are widely considered basketball phenoms. Through his lyrical poetry, an adult version of Josh, aka Filthy McNasty (Daveed Diggs), narrates the story of he and his brother’s coming of age on and off the court as their former professional basketball player father (Derek Luke) adjusts to life after basketball, and their mother (Sabrina Revelle) finally pursues lifelong dreams of her own. There’s a killer stalking the mean streets, but instead of targeting the poor and downtrodden like Jack the Ripper, the Widow is meting out justice against the rich and powerful. As part of its monthlong celebration of the legendary Warner Bros. studio’s centennial, Turner Classic Movies is devoting each Monday and Thursday evening to films from legendary directors who helmed films for Warner. Tonight’s first Thursday lineup begins with a focus on Michael Curtiz, starting with his Best Picture Oscar-nominated The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), led by Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland in one of their many onscreen pairings. The film is preceded by Rabbit Hood, Chuck Jones’ 1949 Merrie Melodies animated short starring Bugs Bunny. The Adventures of Robin Hood is followed by Curtiz’s Oscar-winning 1939 short Sons of Liberty, which tells the story of Haym Salomon (Claude Rains), a Jewish businessman who helped finance the Americans during the Revolutionary War, and Life With Father (1947), the comedy starring Best Actor Oscar nominee William Powell. Next are films directed by William Wyler: Jezebel (1938), starring Best Actress winner Bette Davis and Supporting Actress winner Fay Bainter, and The Letter (1940), a crime drama also led by Davis, which earned Wyler a Best Director nomination. Bette Davis leads two somewhat campy but terrific thrillers made in her later career this evening, and she costars with fellow legends in both. First is What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962). Directed by Robert Aldrich, this darkly humorous and horrific cult classic is deliciously gothic and campy fun as it follows an aging former child star (Davis, in a Best Actress Oscar-nominated performance) who torments her paraplegic sister (Joan Crawford), a former movie star, in an old Hollywood mansion. The success of the film opened up doors for these and other actresses to star in subsequent similar types of psychological thrillers led by older women, and one of those, also starring Davis, is next on tonight’s lineup: Hush … Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964). Also helmed by Aldrich, this psychological thriller stars Davis as an aging, reclusive Southern belle plagued by a horrifying family secret who descends into madness following the arrival of a lost relative (played by Olivia de Havilland). Costarring alongside the iconic actresses are other stars who were in the latter stages of their careers: Joseph Cotten, Agnes Moorehead and Mary Astor in her final film role.

“Harry Potter meets The Office” is how exec producer Lisa Henson describes this family-friendly fantasy-adventure movie based on Tom Holt’s popular comic novel. New interns Paul (Patrick Gibson) and Sophie (Sophie Wilde) have no idea what their mysterious firm J.W. Wells & Co. does until CEO — and wizard! — Humphrey Wells and his righthand goblin Dennis Tanner (Christoph Waltz and Sam Neill) ask Paul to locate the Portable Door that can take the opener anywhere they want. Paul and Sophie quickly learn “that the company is a purveyor of [manipulative] magic,” Henson says, and that they have their own latent magical powers. They embark on a quest not only to locate the door, but to hide it from the devious Wells and save humanity from his evil plan.

This evening, Turner Classic Movies’ monthlong celebration of Warner Bros.’ centennial turns to the films the studio produced during World War II, many of which were used to boost morale on the homefront. The lineup begins with the iconic Casablanca (1942). Still one of Warner’s most famous productions, this enduringly quotable Best Picture Oscar-winning romantic drama is led by Best Actor nominee Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Paul Henreid and Supporting Actor nominee Claude Rains. Following that is the Oscar-nominated submarine thriller Destination Tokyo (1943), led by Cary Grant and John Garfield; director Raoul Walsh’s Oscar-nominated Objective, Burma! (1945), starring Errol Flynn and based on the real-life actions of Merrill’s Marauders in Burma; and director Michael Curtiz’s Oscar-winning musical comedy This Is the Army (1943), based on Irving Berlin’s Broadway musical and starring George Murphy, Joan Leslie and Ronald Reagan. The lineup concludes with Across the Pacific (1942), a spy film set in the days ahead of America’s entry into the war. The movie reunites The Maltese Falcon costars Bogart, Mary Astor and Sydney Greenstreet, and was originally helmed by Falcon director John Huston. Vincent Sherman took over in the director’s chair after Huston joined the U.S. Army Signal Corps, where he made films about the war as a uniformed captain.

The series returns for Season 5, again following longtime friends and veterinarians Drs. Hodges and Ferguson, who operate Critter Fixer Veterinary Hospital 100 miles south of Atlanta.
