Season Finale!
Changing the devastating decimation of the Highlander way of life has been both Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire’s (Caitriona Balfe) sole mission this season. The 90-minute finale will bring closure to Book 2 of Diana Gabaldon’s best-selling Outlander book series. Starz has already committed to airing additional seasons (or “books,” as the network references each season) with next season being based on the third of the eight books in the series, titled Voyager, followed by the fourth book in the series, Drums of Autumn.

D.B. Cooper: Case Closed? — Part 1

This four-hour documentary series delves into the 45-year-old mystery of how a man dressed in a suit and tie hijacked a flight, received his ransom, and then jumped from the plane, never to be seen again. Interviews with experts and insiders, including the only people ever to come face-to-face with the hijacker, are featured. Part 2 airs tomorrow night.

HBO’s obsession-worthy limited series began as a passion project for the late actor James Gandolfini. John Turturro — by turns steely and heartbreaking — stars as hustling New York City attorney Jack Stone, who stumbles onto what could be the biggest case of his life, defending bewildered college kid Nasir Khan (a haunting Riz Ahmed), who may or may not be guilty of murder. An adaptation of Peter Moffat’s BBC drama of the same name, this version — crafted by Oscar-winning screenwriter Steven Zaillian and The Wire scribe Richard Price — takes Moffat’s twisty crime-and-justice tale and adds potent racial and sociopolitical layers that make the eight-parter unforgettable.

To get you ready for the theatrical debut of the new Ghostbusters movie this Friday, Destination America is airing a week of ghost-themed programs, kicking off tonight.
