The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s new streaming and broadcast home is on Disney+ and ABC starting with this year’s ceremony, which streams live on Disney+ this month (ABC will air a special featuring performance highlights and standout moments on Jan. 1). The 2023 inductees are Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine and the Spinners, along with DJ Kool Herc and Link Wray for Musical Influence, and Chaka Khan, Al Kooper and Bernie Taupin for Musical Excellence. Don Cornelius will be posthumously honored with the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

Godzilla’s Birthday Bash

The original Gojira (Godzilla) premiered in Japan 69 years ago today, on Nov. 3, 1954. To celebrate this big birthday boy, Comet is airing a triple feature of some of his classic films. It starts with Godzilla, King of the Monsters! (1956), the Americanized English-language version of Gojira with new footage added starring Raymond Burr. After that are Destroy All Monsters (1968) and Son of Godzilla (1967).

Iconic martial artist/actor Bruce Lee (born Lee Jun-fan) would have turned 83 this month (he was born Nov. 27, 1940; he died July 20, 1973, at the age of 32). Turner Classic Movies remembers Lee’s life and career each Saturday night this month with two films starring or about the legend. Several of these titles are making their TCM premieres, including both of tonight’s movies. First up is Bruce Lee, the Legend (1984), a follow-up/reworking of a 1973 documentary about Lee from producer Raymond Chow, who had also produced several of Lee’s martial arts action films, including tonight’s second premiere title, The Big Boss (1971), which began Lee’s rise to stardom in Asia and, soon after, the world.

Co-executive producer David Oyelowo stars as legendary Wild West lawman Bass Reeves in this series also executive produced by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone). Known as the greatest frontier hero in American history, Reeves worked in the post-Reconstruction era as a federal peace officer in what was then known as the Indian Territory, capturing over 3,000 of the most dangerous criminals without ever being wounded. Also featured in the cast are Donald Sutherland, Dennis Quaid, Lauren E. Banks, Demi Singleton, Forrest Goodluck and Barry Pepper. This eight-episode series (the first two installments drop today) is the first in a planned Lawmen anthology that will follow other iconic lawmen and outlaws in future iterations.

Often considered one of the most complex and greatest Westerns ever made, director John Ford’s moody 1956 tale stars John Wayne as Ethan Edwards, a Civil War veteran who returns to his settler brother’s West Texas home and finds that his family has been attacked by the Comanche. Joined by a half-breed youth (Jeffrey Hunter) raised by the family, Edwards begins an all-consuming search for his surviving niece (Natalie Wood), now living with her captors. Ward Bond and Vera Miles also star in the film, which is based on Alan Le May’s 1954 novel.

The series was produced in official collaboration with the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza in Dallas and features newly colorized news footage and testimony from those who were there, some of whom are sharing their stories for the first time in a documentary.

Turner Classic Movies celebrates actress Gloria Grahame with lineups of her films every Tuesday night in November. While usually not the lead in a film, Grahame’s supporting appearances were still memorable, even if she was only onscreen for a few minutes (as evidenced early on with her famous turn as Violet Bick in 1946’s It’s a Wonderful Life, her third film). Eight of the first nine feature films Grahame made are in tonight’s lineup, which continues into tomorrow morning. It kicks off with the 1947 film noir Crossfire, for which Grahame earned a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her performance alongside Robert Young, Robert Mitchum and Robert Ryan. After that is another noir, 1949’s A Woman’s Secret, costarring Maureen O’Hara and Melvyn Douglas; Roughshod, a 1949 Western; the 1944 comedy Blonde Fever, Grahame’s first feature film; Merton of the Movies (1947), a comedy led by Red Skelton; Song of the Thin Man (1947), one of the famed mystery comedies starring William Powell and Myrna Loy; the musical romantic comedy It Happened in Brooklyn (1947), starring Frank Sinatra and Kathryn Grayson; and Without Love (1945), a Hepburn/Tracy romantic comedy.

This true-crime series from Paramount+ continues on CBS with two new episodes tonight. In “Operation Knockout: The Biggest Takedown,” the FBI leads a task force made up of over 40 federal, state and local enforcement agencies in Operation Knockout, the biggest anti-gang operation in U.S. history. Then in “Terror in Times Square: Chasing a Madman,” an attempted bombing in New York City leads the FBI on a high-speed, high-stakes hunt to catch the suspect, who has ties to the Pakistani Taliban.

Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown

Over seven weeks, Food Network’s favorites come together for holiday-themed culinary competitions and the chance to beat Bobby Flay. In each supersized episode, three chefs must bring their A-game and battle it out over two festive rounds to get to Bobby. The winner moves on to battle Bobby, but it’s a team effort, and Bobby and the winning contender each pick an eliminated chef as their teammate and sous chef. A blind taste test determines if Bobby or his competitor takes home the win. Chefs competing include Sunny Anderson, Scott Conant, Darnell Ferguson, Duff Goldman, Alex Guarnaschelli, Eddie Jackson and Michael Symon.

This exclusive season of Poker After Dark features 16 poker pros competing in a series of poker challenges, with the winner walking away with $456,000. Filmed in Seoul, South Korea, and hosted by experienced poker broadcaster Ali Nejad, Game of Gold combines high-stakes poker with survival reality TV. Over the course of the 12 episodes, the 16 participants compete across a variety of poker formats, including Sit & Go and Heads-Up games, Indian Poker and a standard tournament poker game, with players that fall short at the poker table eliminated from the show.
