You’re at a magazine rack and can only pick three titles. Which ones do you choose?
Jaime Pressly: People magazine, Entertainment Weekly and Vogue.
If your TV carried just three shows or networks, what would they be?
The Blacklist. Parenthood — one of the most incredible shows ever on television, in my opinion. And Kitchen Nightmares. I love everything that Chef Ramsey does. Oh, Hannibal! @#$%! I love TV!
What has been your strangest fan encounter?
I have a really great group of fans. I’ve been very blessed. For me, a lot of people would come up and quote Joy one-liners from Earl. They just brush by me and they say a line, and I’m like, “That sounds familiar. That’s such a strange thing to say.” And I’m like, “Oh, my God, that’s my line!” That happens a lot from Earl.
Tell us about a time when you were starstruck.
The first Broadway play I saw was 42nd Street. Punky Brewster was still on the air then. It was huge then. And sitting right next to me was Ami Foster, who played Margaux Kramer, the bitchy best friend of Punky. And I could not believe that I was sitting next to Margaux Kramer!
What are three things you have to have in your fridge or pantry?
Water. I drink like 10-12 bottles of water a day. Bottled water, lemon juice and cheese.
What’s a movie you can watch over and over again?
The Princess Bride. There’s not one bad part in that movie. “You killed my father. Prepare to die.” There is nothing wrong with that movie. And good old Andre the Giant …
So you still run into mournful My Name Is Earl fans?
Yes, all the time. And they’re all over my Twitter. I’m just as mournful as they are. We all are from the show. It was one of the most incredible experiences that any one of us have ever had and may ever have again. Greg Garcia created an atmosphere and a place that I don’t know that it will ever be matched. It was a family and an experience of a lifetime.
