Tonight on Dating Naked, we’ve been cordially been invited to a wedding! So is this actually called Wedding Naked, or Naked Wedding? And, is there a skin-flick already by that name? (I’m too afraid to type either phrase into Google to check.) And if the wedding guests hook up with each other, is it Dating Naked at a naked wedding? My brain hurts.
Thankfully, we can watch tonight’s love-fest (officially titled, Dating Naked: The Wedding) in the fully-clothed comfort of our homes, but if you’re so moved by the displays of love, feel free to strip down.
Ashley, an artist from Colorado and Alika, a yoga instructor from California, are ready to exchange vows of love and commitment in front of their family, friends and some of their fellow Dating Naked couples. I wonder— are the family and friends Ashley and Alika have invited to their televised nuptials are their young and sexy relatives or the old and saggy ones? Will you shed a tear when they say, “I do…not like clothes?”
I read that tonight’s activities are not legally binding, so Ashley and Alika had a legal ceremony where I assume they wore clothes. But how awesome would it have been if host Amy Paffrath had gotten ordained online and had been able to legally marry the lovebirds? I bet that hasn’t happened on TV before! (Although I think Jeff Probst may be ordained to perform wedding ceremonies.) Perhaps we’ll save that moment for the next Dating Naked wedding, it could happen, (I’m looking at you, Wee Wee and Joe!)
And if another wedding doesn’t happen as a result of Dating Naked, Season 1, we can hope that future families are formed as a result of Dating Naked, Season 2. That’s right, the folks at VH1 are fringing back the romance and nudity for another season. Casting is underway, so if you’re looking for romance with no pants, apply here!
