5 Questions With Kristen Kish of truTV’s “Fast Foodies”

You might know Kristen Kish as the extremely talented winner of Season 10 of Top Chef, but in the years since, she’s made an even bigger name for herself in the food scene, opening the respected restaurant Arlo Grey in Austin, Texas. But she also is one of the three chefs — along with fellow Top Chef winner Jeremy Ford and Iron Chef America winner Justin Sutherland — reinventing fast-food classics on truTV’s series Fast Foodies, which premieres its second season Thursday. We spoke to Kish for our “5 Questions” on her favorite fast-food options, what ingredients she can’t be […]

Danica McKellar on Impractical JokerstruTV

Get the Real Story Behind Danica McKellar on Impractical Jokers

When it comes to dishing out loser punishments on Impractical Jokers, my heart often goes out to Murr (James Murray). The guy definitely gets the worst punishments out of the group — from that ferret tattoo to getting his eyebrows shaved off to being forced to skydive when he’s petrified of heights — but the one that really, really was crushing was when Sal, Q and Joe arranged the appearance of  Danica McKellar on Impractical Jokers. Murr was oiled up and in a speedo thinking he was in a body building competition but instead he was introduced to a very confused […]

2016 NCAA March Madness TV schedule

CBS has televised the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament championship game for 34 consecutive years, but that streak will end this year as Turner Sports has exclusive coverage of the title game at NRG Stadium in Houston on April 4. As part of their 14-year agreement with the NCAA, CBS and Turner Sports alternate coverage of the Final Four and National Championship games beginning in 2016. Turner airs the games in even-numbered years, while CBS gets odd-numbered years, through 2024. Turner has had exclusive coverage of the Final Four for the past two years, so college hoops fans have had some […]

Those Who Can't makes its premiere on truTV

truTV takes on #CasualTeachers in “Those Who Can’t”

A trio of Denver-based, whip-smart standup comedians banded together about five years ago to form the comedy troupe The Grawlix. Finding success with their combined mojo, Adam Cayton-Holland, Ben Roy and Andrew Orvedahl took their talents offstage in the form of web shorts, which eventually led to the creation of their first TV pilot, Those Who Can’t. The series premieres on truTV Thursday, Feb. 11 at 10:30pmET/PT and is the first scripted comedy to be added to the network’s lineup. truTV has made the first two episodes of the series available to stream now. Those Who Can’t is ridiculously LOL […]

To prepare for the event, the Jokers upon the expertise of Ringling Bros. David Spade gives folks their 15 minutes of Fameless on truTV

Some people will do anything for their 15 minutes of televised glory and David Spade plans to prove it. Spade is the star and co-executive producer of Fameless, truTV’s latest addition to its growing sketch/prank comedy stable (see also: Impractical Jokers, Friends of the People and The Carbonaro Effect, all of which are back with new episodes this month, too). On the eight-episode summer laugher, wannabe reality stars believe they’ve been cast in a new unscripted series — perhaps an American Idol style talent competition, perhaps a Survivor-esque endurance test. In the meantime, their costars — a team of seasoned improv actors […]
