The world’s best tennis players head to the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., for a shot a the final Grand Slam tournament of the year, the US Open, beginning Monday, Aug. 29. On the women’s side, top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki will try to stave off the likes of Vera Zvonareva, Victoria Azarenka, Maria Sharapova, Li Na, Petra Kvitova and Francesca Schiavone.
