Sharknado: The 4th Awakens Cameos Announced, Poster Art Released

Fittingly, Syfy chose May the Fourth — notable for its punny connection with Star Wars Day, as in “May the Fourth Be With You” — to announce cameos for its upcoming installment in the Sharknado franchise, the equally punnily titled Sharknado: The 4th Awakens. The fourth Sharknado entry will debut on Syfy July 31, and has already announced some of its major casting, including returning favorites and new costars. You can see many of them below in the poster art for the film that was released today (like the movie’s title itself, the poster seems pretty reminiscent of the one for Star Wars: The Force Awakens). Looks like […]

Who won Face Off Season 10? A finale recap

In this 2-part finale, we find out who won Face Off season 10. But first our artists have to create 2 horror makeups for a short film. Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions is happy to be there and will be helping judge the final makeups. There’s a lot of thanking and happiness. Yes, everything. He’s freaking out & I really can’t blame him. Melissa has a medium amount of work – re-doing a chest piece & her victim makeup. Walter appears to be sitting pretty with some minor edits & additions. I think I’m putting my bets on Rob – he’s been consistently strong over the entire season. If he can rally & get a crap ton […]

In Syfy’s Hunters, Gale Anne Hurd wants to make aliens scary again — and she succeeds

That’s part of her stated goal as an executive producer of Syfy’s new series Hunters. Inspired by Whitley Strieber’s novel Alien Hunter, the series, featuring Julian McMahon (Nip/Tuck), follows a highly classified government organization known as the Exo-Terrorism Unit, which tracks and fights […]
