Tyler Perry and OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network both have reason to celebrate. Perry’s four series for the network — The Haves and the Have Nots, For Better or Worse, Love Thy Neighbor and If Loving You is Wrong — have become hits, and have recently been renewed for more episodes. OWN orders new episodes of all four of its Tyler Perry series

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today that more episodes of all four of its popular Tyler Perry series have been ordered. The Haves and the Have Nots has been given 23 one-hour episodes; If Loving You Is Wrong, 22 one-hour episodes; Love Thy Neighbor, 22 half-hour episodes; and For Better or Worse, 20 half-hour episodes. In a release, OWN credits these Tyler Perry series with the network’s boost into the Top 25 among cable networks in primetime among women 25-54. Throughout January, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network will be airing a month of programs honoring civil rights legends as the 50th anniversary of the historic Selma to Montgomery marches led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. nears.
