The 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup season starts with the “Great American Race,” the Daytona 500 from Daytona International Speedway on Sunday, Feb. 21, on FOX. Top contenders include Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Martin Truex Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., 2015 Daytona 500 winner Joey Logano and reigning Cup Series champion Kyle Busch. The 2016 NHL All-Star Game at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Sunday, Jan. 31, features an all-new format. The NHL’s best players will compete in a three-on-three divisional tournament with the Central vs. Pacific and the Metropolitan vs. the Atlantic in 20-minute games. Universal Sports Network, the channel largely dedicated to Olympic sports, figure skating, winter sports, cycling and more, went dark Nov. 16.
