I find vampires where I can and at present two of the best are found in the killers on Dexter. […]
By Elaine Bergstrom No, our cynical killer will not start taking happy pills. Instead, for fans who need more kills and more backstory, Showtime will air a 12-part animated web-only series, Dexter: Early Cuts, beginning Sunday, Oct. 25. Each short feature will feature a new aspect of the Dexter story and can be accessed at sho.com
Dexter is not so different from all of us – all too human, though far more flawed. […]
I felt a bit more sympathy for Rita this week … but I still find myself imagining the innovative ways the writers could get her out of the series and leave Dex with the three kids. […]

By Stacey Harrison As if the power of Twilight needed another demonstration, the line outside of Hall H this morning was insane. The 6,500-seat venue was housing Comic-Con’s biggest event, among those a presentation of new footage from New Moon, the second installment of the boffo teen-vamp saga. But that wasn’t until 1:45. I haven’t checked with the person who got the Californication cookie to see what his dream was about, but likely it was interesting. […]
By Elaine B You can almost pity Dexter the situation he’s in at the end of the episode aptly titled “Go Your Own Way,” though he has only himself to blame. First off, so desperate to have one friend who knows him for [almost] exactly what he is, he’s opened up to a psychopath who is far more vicious than even Dexter can imagine. Now it’s clear that the incredible meeting in the rain between Dexter and Miguel after Dex killed Freebo was not, as Prado tried to claim, something he could not have done himself. He planned to do […]
