The backlash to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s anti-immigrant — and particularly anti-Mexico — comments over the past month continues, as last night on Twitter, Luchador and TNA X-Division champ Tigre Uno, who resides in Tijuana, Mexico, made it clear where he stands. Come June 3, Destination America will be home to not only TNA’s Impact Wrestling, but Ring of Honor as well. Sinclair Broadcast Group, which owns ROH, announced it had signed a national broadcast deal with the network, which is part of Discovery Communications. Ring of Honor will premiere on its new home on Wednesday, June 3 at 8/7CT and run for an initial 26 weeks. In February, the network debuted the new series True Supernatural, Ghosts in My House and Ghostly Encounters, and the channel has a backlog of other monster- and ghost-related programs in its library. TNA’s Impact Wrestling will now be featured on Destination America, with coverage beginning Jan. 7 with a special live broadcast at 9pm ET. The series will move to its permanent time slot on Fridays from 9-11pm ET beginning Jan. 16, with encores at 11pm. Impact Wrestling: Unlocked, with announcer Mike Tenay, will air Saturdays from 10am-12pm ET beginning Jan. 17, to look back at the previous week’s Impact Wrestling. Destination America has found itself with a hit over the past year with its series Mountain Monsters, a fairly standard entry in the “guys in the woods look for legendary monsters” sub-genre of reality programming. “Maybe some of the best BBQ of any season yet!” Myron Mixon (pictured) told us that when we asked him what to expect from the new season of Destination America’s hit competition series BBQ Pitmasters, which begins April 12. Mixon is back at the judges’ table this season, along with returning judge Tuffy Stone and new judge Moe Cason, a self-taught Pitmaster and fan-favorite contestant from an earlier season.
