Kellie Martin Shares Big News On Hallmark’s “Home & Family”!

This Morning on Hallmark Channel’s daytime talks and lifestyle program, Home & Family, actress Kellie Martin stopped by to talk about her new movie, Hello, It’s Me and made a big announcement! “I’m having a baby!” the actress happily shared with host Cristina Ferrare and guest-host Matt Iseman. This is the second while for the actress and her husband, Keith Christian. The duo are proud parents of nearly 9-year-old Maggie who got to reveal, “It’s a girl.” The cutie wasn’t sure if it was okay to spill the secret. “It’s fine…” Martin said and laughed, “No one’s watching, right?” The actress […]

FABLife: Tyra Banks assembles a lifestyle dream team to make you fabulous

Tyra Banks was in the midst of a successful run hosting and executive producing her daytime talker The Tyra Banks Show, helming the wildly successful America’s Next Top Model and dabbling in other TV ventures when she realized everything was going so right … and felt terrifically wrong. “At that time in my career, I was probably the most successful, lucrative and relevant — everything in my life — and the most unhappy,” Banks admits. The model and entrepreneur opted to focus her energies on business school and taking Top Model worldwide — until her former Tyra colleague Lisa Hackner, […]

Stephen Colbert talks about his plans for The Late Show

“I want to do jokes on Donald Trump so badly, and I have no venue,” Stephen Colbert told reporters back in August at the Television Critics Association press tour, when he was still about a month away from debuting The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. “Right now, I’ve just been ‘dry-Trumping.’ I just hope he’s taking his vitamins. Please stay healthy until I get on the air. Every night before I go to bed, I light a candle and pray that he stays in the race, and I also pray that no one puts that candle anywhere near his hair.” […]

“The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” announces first week of guests

In about two weeks, Stephen Colbert will debut as the new host of CBS’ Late Night when The Late Show With Stephen Colbert premieres Sept. 8 at 11:35pm ET/PT. Today, the show announced who Colbert’s guests will be that initial week, and it will run the gamut from Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush, to actress Scarlett Johansson, and from comedian Amy Schumer to author Stephen King and a musical performance by Kendrick Lamar (along with an interview). It seems like a nice mix that exemplifies what Colbert’s interests appear to be, at least based on what we’ve seen on his previous show: politics, music, […]

Done with the “Daily” grind. Here’s when to watch Jon Stewart’s last Daily Show

What will we do without Jonnie Stew? The Daily Show Daily Show Full Episodes,  More Daily Show Videos,  Comedy Central Full Episodes   Sure, I thought the same of Stephen Colbert and The Colbert Report back in December, but my mourning was tempered with the understanding that I’m getting Stephen back next month in Letterman’s place. Jon … well, I don’t know. And that stings. Yes, The Daily Show will go on. But not The Daily Show With Jon Stewart. Because I’m a print journalist who still believes hard in the medium, I get my daily news from a handful […]

David Letterman finale: The host goes out with laughs, memories and music

Although David Letterman’s final Late Show broadcast went over its normal length by about 20 minutes, it felt like it flew by. It was a very well-produced and presented swan song, filled primarily with laughs and memories, but also a few more serious and emotional moments (though Dave never fully broke down, and he didn’t appear to tear up, but that did not diminish his clear emotion at all). The evening led off, surprisingly, with an old clip of President Gerald Ford speaking his famous phrase, “Our long national nightmare is over.” That was followed by Presidents Clinton, Bush, W. Bush […]

Bill Murray makes hilarious final appearance with David Letterman

In David Letterman’s penultimate episode of Late Show last night, it was only fitting that Bill Murray would be the final guest of a “normal” show (tonight’s series finale is going to be more of a retrospective and send-off). Murray was Dave’s first guest on both his NBC Late Night gig, and Late Show, and he showed up in his typically memorable fashion to say farewell to Letterman’s late-night career. After an appearance by another longtime Letterman guest and frequent butt of good-natured humor, Regis Philbin, and before a performance of “The Night We Called It a Day” by Bob Dylan later in the show, […]

Thanks, Dave! The legacy of Letterman

In a year of momentous shifts and departures in the late-night scene, none was as big as David Letterman announcing last April that he would be retiring this year (Stephen Colbert will be taking over as host of Late Show in September). The last holdover of the old-school late-night hosts, Letterman has been keeping people up since 1982, first on NBC’s Late Night, and then on CBS’ Late Show since 1993, in the wake of him being passed over by NBC as host of The Tonight Show upon the departure of Letterman’s idol, Johnny Carson. Over the years, it may […]
