WeWork, a commercial real estate company, grew from a single coworking space that provided flexible shared workspaces to a company worth $47 billion in under a decade, before its value plummeted in less than a year.

WeCrashed (Fridays beginning March 18 on Apple TV+), an eight-episode limited series based on the podcast WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork, chronicles the true events surrounding the rapid ascent and even quicker demise of the organization. Expect to see plenty of the greed and narcissism that so often permeate startup culture.

Academy Award winners Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway portray WeWork cofounder Adam Neumann and his wife, Rebekah, the chief brand and impact officer. Kyle Marvin, America Ferrera and O-T Fagbenle also star. Leto’s accent will (again) be an item of much discussion.
