By far, the most buzzed-about new streaming service this year has been Disney+, which finally launches Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Along with a wide array of older films and TV shows from the vast Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars libraries of content that will be available on the service, Disney+ will also launch with a number of new original series and movies (see below).
Beyond the new titles available right away, Disney+ also excited fans with announcements of future shows in the works. There will be Marvel-inspired series based on popular characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe like Loki, Wanda Maximoff (a.k.a. Scarlet Witch), Vision, and the Falcon and Winter Soldier, all starring the actors who have portrayed these characters in the feature films. There will also be Marvel series based on characters who have not yet been seen onscreen: Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight.
Disney+ taps into the Star Wars universe right away this month with the live-action series The Mandalorian (see more below), but also in development is an Obi-Wan Kenobi series that will find Ewan McGregor reprising that character from the Star Wars prequel films, and a live-action series that has Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk reprising their roles from the feature Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Plenty more has already been announced, so when it comes to Disney+, there is certainly no lack of interesting content. Finding time to watch it all, though, may be another story.

Lady and the Tramp
Disney’s 1955 animated classic gets a live-action remake with this film. The first of 12 half-hour episodes launches Nov. 12, the second on Nov. 15. A new episode will then air subsequent Fridays.
