Dive Back Into the Legends of the Lynx in ‘Lodge 49’ Season 2

One of 2018’s breakout hits, AMC’s quirky Lodge 49 followed snakebit ex-surfer Sean “Dud” Dudley’s (Wyatt Russell) journey to find a new purpose as a Squire in Lodge 49 of the Ancient & Benevolent Order of the Lynx.

In Season 1, Dud’s first attempt at getting back on a surfboard resulted in a much bigger bite. Dud’s sister, Liz (Sonya Cassidy), erased her late father’s debt but lost her job after literally jumping ship at Shamroxx.

As for Dud’s fraternal pals, disillusioned plumbing parts salesman Ernie (Brent Jennings) was headed to Mexico with El Confidente (Cheech Marin). Blaise (David Pasquesi) discovered evidence that gold was created through alchemy. Connie’s (Linda Emond) story about the mysterious “True Lodge” drew great interest from the hierarchy at England’s Lodge 1. And depending on whom you believe, Captain (Bruce Campbell) was in a coma.

Season 2 (Mondays at 10pm ET/PT beginning Aug. 12) will dive deeper into the mysteries of the True Lodge, the history of the Lynx, that randomly appearing seal and those “Is There Another Way to Live?” billboards.

Lodge 49 has been spared from closure, but all is not well under new Sovereign Protector Scott (Eric Allan Kramer). Dud is convinced he’s the one to return the Lodge to its glory days by putting the rightful Sovereign Protector (Ernie) in charge.

Meanwhile, Ernie’s going to have a transformative journey seeking the lost scrolls with El Confidente. Blaise will try his hand at alchemy, and we have a feeling that Dud’s old 32-ounce plastic Thermosaurus mug might hold the secret to its success.

The Walking Dead’s Pollyanna McIntosh joins the cast as Clara, a Lynx emissary in England who befriends Connie, and Mary Elizabeth Ellis (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) joins the cast as Daphne, a sketchy lawyer who offers to help Dud.
