The cult hit “zom-com-rom-dram” launches its fifth and final season with “Thug Death,” which finds Liv (Rose McIver) facing one of the hardest challenges of her crime-solving career: investigating a murder case with no body and, thus, no brain for her to eat to gain her usual special insights. In fact, all she and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) have to work with are a grainy video and a wee bit of blood found at the scene of the crime. Blaine (David Anders), meanwhile, is up to his old tricks.

Harry Potter Battle of Hogwarts Anniversary

In the world of the Harry Potter books, the Battle of Hogwarts — when the villainous Voldemort and his army laid siege to the wizarding school in an effort to capture the titular hero — took place on May 2, 1998. To commemorate the 21st anniversary of that pivotal event in this fictional universe, Syfy airs the final two films in the Harry Potter film series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) and Part 2 (2011).
