Season 4 of the workplace comedy picks up with new episodes, and as the season continues, you’ll see the ensemble leaving Cloud 9 a bit more. “We see these characters outside of the store quite a bit this season,” said star America Ferrera at a press conference. “As the show goes on and they become more of a family, there’s more of a reason to see them outside of the place,” added creator/executive producer Justin Spitzer. “So, like, Amy inviting this group of coworkers to her daughter’s quinceañera shows that these are her friends and family, too.”

Jack decides to work on a book detailing a new philosophical thesis, which will require him to immerse himself in Toledo more than ever while continuing to enlist the help of his students and friends at Whitlock High School, including Principal Durbin (Patton Oswalt).
