BET had a critical and popular hit on its hands with last year’s biopic miniseries The New Edition Story, which chronicled the rise and fall of the famed R&B group. Now, the network narrows its focus even further with a two-night miniseries that looks at the life of one of the most renowned members of that group, Bobby Brown. Woody McClain reprises his role as Brown, from the earlier miniseries, with other notable casting including Gabrielle Dennis as Whitney Houston and Donshea Hopkins as Bobbi Kristina Brown. Part 2 airs tomorrow night.

Castaways: “A Cry for Help”
