Each week, the competitors face two challenges: a timed preliminary challenge called the “Faster Craft” and a longer, more complicated themed challenge called the “Master Craft Collection.” Poehler hopes that the series will inspire viewers to become makers themselves, and says, “I want to make a TV show that makes you want to turn off your TV. A viewing experience that gets you off your phone. An event that pushes you to your garage to rummage around and see what you can make.”

The final episode is titled “When the Saints Go Marching In” in tribute to the city of New Orleans, where the family lived and fought for control.
