The single-elimination Round of 16 or “knockout stage” of the FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia begins today with two matches on FOX. France, the winner of Group C, takes on Group D runner-up Argentina, followed by Group A winner Uruguay vs. Group B second-place finisher Portugal. FOX and FS1 televise the Round of 16 through July 3.

In mid-April, NBC quietly removed the second season of this series spun off from Luc Besson’s popular feature-film franchise from its Friday schedule, before bringing it back on Saturday nights in late May to air the remaining episodes. That did not bode well for the series’ renewal, and in fact the series was canceled in May. So tonight’s Season 2 finale will also be Taken’s series finale.

FOX News Channel continues its Independence Day special programming through July 4. FNC’s #ProudAmerican campaign will travel to Norfolk, Va., to honor the thousands of American military men and women. Former FOX News host Anna Kooiman will make a special appearance aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG-61) which recently fired 30 Tomahawk missiles into Syria. Additionally, Kooiman will speak with the crew and their families to get an inside look at one of America’s frontline fighting ships. She will explore the historic area, including a stop at Doumar’s, a landmark known as the birthplace of the ice cream cone. Kooiman will also be live from Colonial Williamsburg, where she will try authentic colonial food and listen to a young Thomas Jefferson read the Declaration of Independence. FOX News Channel’s co-host of Outnumbered and host of Outnumbered Overtime, Harris Faulkner, will join in the festivities on July 4 appearing on FNC throughout the day. Faulkner will speak with military families and will sign her book 9 Rules Of Engagement: A Military Brat’s Guide to Life and Success at Town Point Park. Additionally, Harris will appear on stage at Norfolk’s Fourth of July Great American Picnic and Fireworks to introduce the featured musical performances and fireworks show.
