A new episode called “The Deep” plunges viewers on an epic journey into the unknown that reveals the abundance of life that thrives in the pitch-black depths of the seabed. Producer Orla Doherty and her team become the first humans to dive more than 3,000 feet below the surface of Antarctica’s frigid waters in a submersible to explore under icebergs the size of a city block. They discover such creatures as the Barreleye Fish, whose transparent head is filled with jelly.

Few had ever heard of the Branch Davidians and their leader David Koresh until the events of Feb. 28, 1993, when a raid by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms on their center close to Waco, Texas, left four agents and six of the religious sect dead. It led to a 51-day standoff with the FBI, the longest in U.S. law-enforcement history, ending in a tragic fire that killed an additional 76 members of the Branch Davidian community, including 22 children. Who was David Koresh, and why were many Branch Davidians prepared to die for him? Was he a con man or an anointed messenger of God sent to warn his followers of the imminent end of the world? Along with Koresh’s own voice taken from many previously unbroadcast FBI negotiation tapes, nine Branch Davidians will now tell their emotional story from the inside.

Strike Back, the action thriller about a British black-ops counterterrorism unit that Cinemax canceled in 2015, roars back for an unexpected fifth season. These episodes feature a new team: profiling expert Natalie Reynolds (Roxanne McKee); Thomas “Mac” McAllister (Warren Brown), who’s out to avenge his murdered squad; lone wolf Samuel Wyatt (Daniel MacPherson); and Gracie Novin (Alin Sumarwata), an Australian expert sniper. They’ll be trying to stop Islamist terrorist Omair Idrisi (Don Hany) and his English wife, Jane Lowry (Katherine Kelly), a jihadist whose goal is to bring down the West.

Biles’ story of pursuing a dream is an inspiring, emotional journey. “I feel like I’ve always just been pushing towards my goals,” Biles says, “and I think that’s very important for kids to realize: that if you don’t set something, you might get a little bit lost, or you might want to veer off and say, ‘I don’t want to do this,’ because you almost don’t know why you’re doing it.”
