This new horror anthology series comes from The Walking Dead executive producer Gayle Anne Hurd. Each of this season’s six spooky episodes comes from a real-life — and really scary — story that has served as the basis for some of the horror genre’s most famous tales. Robert Patrick, Colm Feore, Adam Goldberg, Kristin Bauer van Straten and Campbell Scott are a few of the series’ stars.
David Fincher (Gone Girl, Zodiac) directed this series based on John Douglas’ book. It is set in 1979 and follows two FBI agents (played by Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany) who interview imprisoned serial killers to understand how these criminals think so they can apply new techniques to solving ongoing cases. Charlize Theron is an executive producer.
The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected)
Writer/director Noah Baumbach crafted this comedic intergenerational tale of adult siblings (Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller and Elizabeth Marvel) contending with the long shadow their strong-willed father (Dustin Hoffman) has cast over their lives. Emma Thompson, Grace Van Patten, Adam Driver, Candice Bergen, Judd Hirsch and Rebecca Miller also star.

ESPN has a Friday night college football doubleheader with Clemson at Syracuse in an ACC matchup and Washington State at California in a Pac-12 game.
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom
This all-new stop-motion special tells the story of the Flying Dutchman (Brian Doyle-Murray) coming to scare the residents Bikini Bottom, but SpongeBob believes that spooky things are actually funny. The special features Bikini Bottom locations decked out for the spooky holiday and the residents dressed in costume: SpongeBob as a flower, Patrick as a knight, Sandy as a mad scientist, Mr. Krabs as a dollar bill, Plankton as a devil and Karen as a cat. Squidward will, of course, be dressed as himself.

Fentress’ watching of Deliverance seems to have triggered deeply rooted and hidden urges he had — all of which he acted upon after entering a psychotic state.
