My Little Pony: the Movie Adds Zoe Saldana to Cast, Reveals New Logo

TV Favorite Will Canter Onto the Big Screen This Fall.

Hasbro has announced that Guardians of the Galaxy star Zoe Saldana will add her voice to its upcoming animated film, My Little Pony: The Movie. Saldana will join other celebs including Kristin Chenoweth, Emily Blunt, Taye Diggs, Liev Schreiber, Sia, Uzo Aduba, and Michael Peña in the flick. The film will also star the voice actors who currently voice the “Mane 6” in Discovery Family Channel’s insanely addictive series, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic —Andrea Libman, Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball, Tabitha St. Germain and Cathy Weseluck. The popular TV series also enjoys a parade of celebrity guest stars.

Hasbro has also released the film’s logo, which is the first peek of Friendship is Magic‘s “Mane 6”: Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy and Spike the dragon with new looks for their cinematic appearances. My Little Pony: The Movie premieres October 6, 2017.
