UPDATE! C-SPAN has released its coverage schedule for Week 2 of the Cabinet Confirmation Hearings. See below.
This week, C-SPAN will carry live coverage of Cabinet Confirmation Hearings both on-air and online. Although Congress can’t officially confirm Mr. Trump’s cabinet nominees until after the January 20 presidential inauguration, these hearings are held beforehand to expedite the voting process. The hearings take place before the Senate committees that the nominee will eventually oversee. After the hearing, the committee will vote, and if the candidate is approved, voted upon again by the entire Senate.
