2016 Holiday Programming Guide

The holidays are here — and so is Jingle Guide, your comprehensive source for holiday movies, series and specials on TV this month. So pour yourself a glass of eggnog and enjoy some great TV programming with friends and family.

The ol’ holiday standbys are on, of course. It’s a Wonderful Life airs on NBC Dec. 3 and 24, and TBS and TNT are airing the 1983 classic A Christmas Story for 24 hours starting the evening of Dec. 24.

And getTV is airing a full month of holiday programming; it’s their second annual “The Most Wonderful Month of the Year.” The network is changing up its daily schedule during primetime in order to focus on a mixture of rare and classic Christmas-themed specials, series episodes and movies. Highlights include Bing Crosby and the Sounds of Christmas airing tonight (Dec. 1) and The Johnny Cash Christmas Show airing Dec. 5. Also airing on getTV are Perry Como’s Christmas specials from various locations around the world.

Jingle Guide also features new holiday programming. Set your DVRs for NBC’s new special Michael Bublé Sings and Swings airing Dec. 20. And Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and ION all are airing new movies that will warm you up during the holidays.
