RFD TV’s Country’s Family Reunion Airs Four-Part Merle Haggard Tribute

This Friday evening, RFD-TV and Country’s Family Reunion will debut a new four-part series, A Tribute to Merle Haggard. The event features all -new episodes of Country’s Family Reunion, including special appearances by Haggard’s three sons plus the country-music legend’s friends and fellow singer/songwriters including John Conlee, Vince Gill, Bobby Bare, Gene Watson, Moe Bandy, Teea Goans, Rhonda Vincent, Darryl Singletary and others.

The long-running Country’s Family Reunion is hosted by country legend and hit songwriter Whisperin’ Bill Anderson, who leads the discussion and offers viewers tales from his many years in the business.

Friday, November 11 at 8/7 CT – Guests include Ronnie Reno, who performs “Honky Tonk Night Time Man,” David Frizzell singing “The Way it was In 51,” Bobby Bare’s “Ramblin’ Fever,” and Vince Gill’s “Lost In A World Without Haggard.”

Friday, November 18 at 8/7 CT – Guests include John Conlee singing “Okie From Muskogee,” Teea Goans doing “I Didn’t Mean To Love You,” Ray Benson’s “Misery and Gin,” Mark Wills performing “I Think I’ll Just Stay Here And Drink,” Rhonda Vincent’s “Mama Tried,” and Marty Noel and Ben Haggard teaming up on  “Workin’ Man Blues’.”

Friday, November 25 at 8/7 CT – Guests include The Isaacs performing if “If We Make it Though December,” Moe Bandy performing  “Today I Started Loving You Again,” Gene Watson’s “Tonight The Bottle Let me Down,” Tony Booth performing “I Had a Beautiful Time,” Mac Wiseman’s “Sing Me Back Home,” Marty Haggard doing  “Mama’s Hungry Eyes,” and Noel and Ben Haggard teaming up on “The Runnin’ Kind/Lonesome Fugitive.”

Friday, December 2 at 8/7 CT – Guests include Jim Lauderdale performing “I’m Always On A Mountain When I Fall,” T. Graham Brown singing “Big City,” Mo Pitney’s “Farmer’s Daughter,” Jeannie Seely’s “Everybody’s Had the Blues,” Ben Haggard singing “It’s All in the Movies,” and Daryle Singletary performing  “Footlights.”
