What’s It All About? This mix of animation and live action is what He-Man and the Masters of the Universe would be if it left Eternia and moved to modern-day suburbia. Mighty Zorn (Sudeikis), defender of Zephyria, returns to Southern California after 10 years off at war to discover his ex-wife Edie (Hines) is engaged to Craig (Meadows). The titular Son of Zorn is Alangulon (Pemberton), a liberal teenage vegetarian whom Zorn wants to transform into a bloodthirsty warrior. Zorn gets a job at Sanitation Solutions, where he is unable to accept that his boss (Artemis Pebdani) is a woman. Zorn’s epic, fantastical Zephyrian ways get reduced to comically mundane First World problems. Zorn should slay audiences of FOX’s Sunday lineup. The series premieres Sunday, Sept. 11, and begins in its regular time slot Sept. 25.
