Nearly 2o years after the Christmastime murder of 6-year-old beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey, several new TV specials re-examine the cold case and try to solve the case that horrified and captivated a nation.

What’s It All About? Dr. Phil McGraw presents a three-part interview with JonBenét’s now 29 year-old brother, Burke. At the time of his sister’s murder, Bure was a nine year-old who was questioned about the disappearance and death of his sister, but was cleared in the case, and has never spoken publicly about the ordeal.

What’s It All About? In this three-part documentary, viewers will be led on a fascinating exploration of never-before-seen police evidence, and probe key figures in the crime with provocative questions. Exclusive interviewees featured in this three-part series include Gordon Coombes, a former investigator for the Boulder County District Attorney’s office, offering unique insight into the inner-workings of the office during critical moments in the case; Diane Dimond, an investigative journalist for Hard Copy who covered the case from the very beginning; Bobby Brown and Steve Pease, both former Colorado Springs Detectives; Ollie Gray and John San Agustin, private investigators for the Ramsey family and leading voices advocating the “Intruder Theory”; Bob Whitson, former Sergeant in the Boulder Police, who was in the Ramsey house the day JonBenét’s body was discovered; and Pamela Griffin, Patsy Ramsey’s confidant who handmade all of JonBenét’s pageant costumes.

What’s It All About? Former NYC prosecutor and retired FBI agent and profiler Jim Clements leads a “dream team” of original investigators and new experts as they reexamine evidence with advanced technology and forensics. The team also creates full-scale models of key rooms in the Ramsey family’s Colorado mansion, conducts additional interviews and examines new theories regarding the shocking crime. And at the end of the four-hour limited event docuseries, the team of investigators will reveal who they believe killed JonBenét.

Note: CBS originally planned to air this special over 6 hour, but recently shortened the series to only 4 hours, eliminating a broadcast on Sept. 24

Lifetime is also working on a TV movie,Who Killed JonBenet?, which will premiere later this fall.

  1. Kellie. I hope they shed some light on what really happened to Jon Benet. The Justice system failed her completely due to false suppositions, knuckle headed stubborness and incompetence.
