An explosive second season is in store as eight new innocent participants, all with an interest in the criminal justice system, go undercover at Indiana’s Clark County Jail for a deeper dive into the drugs, violence and internal corruption exposed during Season 1. This season, we meet the wife of Season 1 participant Zac, along with a former corrections officer, a mother with an incarcerated child, a bounty hunter, a criminal justice student and a young lawyer. Each participant’s background will help give Sheriff Jamey Noel more feedback to improve the facility.

Will Ferrell re-teams with director Adam McKay (Anchorman, Talladega Nights) for this action-packed comedy about a pair of mismatched New York City detectives who seize an opportunity to grab the spotlight — just like the city’s top cops whom they idolize — when a seemingly dull case turns out to be a massive financial conspiracy. Mark Wahlberg and Eva Mendes also star.

Tying in with NBC’s coverage of the Rio Olympic Games, this special standalone episode, according to executive producer Justin Spitzer, “takes place in the world of the show at some point last season before the walkout.” So don’t be surprised that Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom) is still pregnant, and that the group hasn’t had the big union discussion yet. What you will see: A Cloud 9 Olympics promotion gives Amy (America Ferrera) the chance to meet her childhood hero, gold medal-winning gymnast Missy Jones (special guest star Cecily Strong of Saturday Night Live), who proves to be a little too inspirational. Meanwhile, storewide “Olympic fever” causes Glenn (Mark McKinney) to have some difficulty balancing his extreme patriotism, makes Jonah (Ben Feldman) learn a secret about Mateo’s (Nico Santos) past and has Dina (Lauren Ash) striving to create a “closing ceremony” her colleagues will never forget. The episode features special appearances by Olympic gold medalists Apolo Anton Ohno, Tara Lipinski and McKayla Maroney.
