Seinfeld: “The Soup Nazi”

This is one of the hit series’ classic episodes and includes one of the show’s most famous lines, “No soup for you.” Larry Thomas, an unknown actor at the time, stole the episode (Season 7, Episode 6) as the militant soup chef. He later told The Hollywood Reporter about his once-in-a-lifetime audition, “I had a pair of green pants. I had this old Army shirt from back in the ’70s when my friend’s older brothers were in Vietnam. My wife went, ‘Oh my God. I’ve got an idea.’ She went into her part of the closet and took out a beret. We both stood there staring at the mirror. I looked like Saddam Hussein, who was not a very popular guy in 1995. I’m going, ‘Do I have the guts to walk in there like that?’” He did, and the rest is now TV history.

In “Angel Probation,” Amy (Jane Lynch) must complete 10 good deeds to earn back her angel powers. Then in “Angel Appreciation Day,” Amy does double duty when Allison (Maggie Lawson) accidentally kills Brad’s (Kyle Bornheimer) guardian angel.
