Grease: Live soundtrack to be released Jan. 31

The Grease: Live Official Soundtrack Album will be available digitally Sunday, Jan. 31, at 7pm ET/PT, coinciding with the start of the three-hour live event on FOX. A special pre-order at the iTunes Store has launched, and includes the option to download Jessie J’s rendition of “Grease (Is the Word),” the classic tune written by Barry Gibb. In addition to the digital release, Target has the exclusive CD package with four bonus tracks, which will be released on Friday, March 4.

“The GREASE: LIVE Official Soundtrack Album features the show’s cast performing classics from the original stage musical, written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, and the 1978 Paramount film, plus two original tracks written by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey performed by Carly Rae Jepsen and DNCE and an original track written and performed by DNCE. Also among the high-profile performers are Julianne Hough, Aaron Tveit, Vanessa Hudgens, Carlos PenaVega, Keke Palmer, Kether Donohue, Jordan Fisher, Andrew Call, David Del Rio, Boyz II Men and more.
