2016 Academy Award Nominations Announced

On Thursday, Jan. 14, The 88th Academy Award Nominations were announced by directors Guillermo Del Torro and Ang Lee, actor John Krasinski and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Cheryl Boone Isaacs. The Renevant leads the Oscar race, with 12 nominations.

Chris Rock will host the 88th Academy Awards. The Actor/Comedian/Filmmaker is returning to host the 2016 Oscars for the second time live Sunday, February 28th 2016 on ABC. Rock also hosted the Academy Awards broadcast in 2005.
