Syfy Twilight Zone New Year’s Eve Marathon 2015 schedule

For the 21st year, Syfy will be airing its annual fan-favorite programming stunt, the Twilight Zone New Year’s Eve Marathon. This year, though, will feature something different. The Twilight Zone New Year’s Eve Marathon 2015 will air all 156 episodes of Rod Serling’s classic sci-fi anthology series in chronological order, and in HD, for the first time ever on Syfy (or the old Sci-Fi Channel, for that matter).

The whopping 87-hour marathon will begin Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 7pm ET/PT, and conclude Sunday, Jan. 3, at 12pm ET/PT. The marathon will only be interrupted for a telecast of WWE SmackDown on Thursday, Dec. 31, from 8-10pm ET/PT.

Obviously, since every Twilight Zone episode is being aired, you can expect some of your favorites, including obvious, iconic installments like “To Serve Man” and “Time Enough at Last.” But you’ll also have a chance to view rarely-seen-anymore episodes, including the hourlong episodes of Zone.

  1. Thank you TZ and Syfy. I absolutely loved the marathon, though my wife brought up the ‘Divorce’ word a few times. But it as worth it. She did sit by my side to watch a few episodes, and on Saturday, we watched ‘On Thursday, We leave for home’, which we haven’t seen before. When it was over, she said that the episode was a very good one. Did I make a Twilightzonian out of her, I doubt it. But she probably won’t mention the ‘D’ word until next New ear’s Eve.

  2. I absolutely LOVED the format this year!!! I hope they will air all 156 episodes in future marathons. The TZ is as relevant today as it was when it first aired. Rod Serling was a genius!

  3. love and never miss the marathon i was dissappointed that many episodes had been cut short for instance in The Living Doll They cut out my Main Man Telly Savalas in the garage sweating bullets trying to saw tina,s head off and trying to burn her this was one of the shows best parts.also this is one of my personnal favorites.im sure others noticed the shortning of episodes as well.I ASK why were these cut short. otherwise i love TZ and never miss it Mr.Serling was well above any others and was a sheer genius.

  4. 4 days of the Twilight Zone-does it get any better? Thank you SYFY-keep up the good work!

  5. sci fy channel decided to edit most if not all the episodes in this years new years marathon [2015] 1-2 minutes taken out of each episode .. a fact.. you can thank nbc universal for this deed,, not to mention the fact that years ago the marathon was shown in full screen format which is no longer….. bottom line the marathon has become unwatchable

  6. Ok. I’ve put replies to comments but this is gona be MY COMMENT. I’ve been a TZ fan for 35yrs. I never miss the TZ Marathon over the holidays. This ur it’s special. I mean..it’s like 4 hays long for christs sake AND in HD. THE HD quality is growing on me however I’m still a fan of the old school grainy picture. Rod Serling was truly ahead of his time. These episodes are always missed and never gets old. I get sad when the marathon is coming to an end. But i look foreword to next year. Hopefully they will do the same thing….all 156 episodes. RIP Mr. Serling!!

  7. I look forward to The Twilight Zone each year! Absolutely love it! Even though I have all the episodes on dvd, I can’t wait till this marathon airs!
I have even researched the bios of many of its actors and actresses! Just fantastic.

    • OMG! And I thought I was the only one that looked up the bios as the episode was playing!! Kinda morbid..but the reason why I would look up their bios was to see if the had passed away or not LOVE TWILIGHT ZONE!!

  8. Next time leave that pro wrestling garage where it belongs! You can literally feel your brain cells dying watching that crap!!

  9. I hope they start doing it this way every episode in otder. I enjoyed this way the most over the past years

    • Yes! I did as well. And also I noticed right off the bat the HD quality. I wasn’t a fan of it at first for I like the old school grainy b/w picture quality..but I must say the HD quality is growing on me.!!

  10. Sue Baus. Wow! This has been our tradition every year since it started! Get some drinks, make some snacks. Drink ur self straight…start all over again! Good recipe huh! That’s probably why (until this year) we are surprised that there were episodes we had thought we didn’t see before..lol. Happy New Year !! Have fun watching…we’re doing a repeat tonight!! (live in jersey)

  11. twilight zone series is truly a masterpiece ..rod serling was a genius..unfortunately i was caught off gaurd not realizing that all episodes were going to air.was wondering re: previous zone marathons if all the episodes were previously televized at one time or another? given the statement/desciption at top “But you’ll also have a chance to view rarely-seen-anymore episodes”

    • Agreed. Even the 1 hr episodes were good! I mean, it’s the first time where they showed ALL 156 episodes. For gods sake it’s on for 4 days Lolol!! LOVE IT!

  12. What about The Catipillar ??? (Actually it was an air wig). Did I miss it ? I’ll die ! I’ll just die ! That was the best ever!!!!

  13. I watched the Twilight Zone all the time in the mid-60’s with my grandparents, aunts and uncle. I loved it as a child, and still do! Its kind of interesting that my Grandma was very much into Edgar Cayce then also. I Did not realize what that was all about until I got older. Now I too am fond of Edgar and his contemporaries. Anyway, Thank You SyFy for this great treat down memory lane.
Happy New Year to you All.

  14. If it takes 2 hours of wrestling to get an extra day of the marathon i’m fine with that.

  15. Even after 57 years of watching T/Z (and every episode) I never miss the New Years marathon every year. Still love the show. Miss Mr. Serling he was the master of syfy. RIP Mr Serling . The T/Z will live forever.
