Jimmy Kimmel Live “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” special to re-air in primetime

Last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live drew its fourth-biggest ever Monday night audience (3.291 million Total Viewers; 1.058 million Adults 18-49) with the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (gotta love Disney/ABC corporate synergy!). Jimmy welcomed director J.J. Abrams, along with stars Harrison Ford (who tearfully settled his “feud” with Chewbacca to the tune of Adele’s “Hello”), Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega and R2D2. Jimmy Kimmel Live: The Star Wars Special will re-air in primetime on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 10pm ET on ABC.

Along with Ford and Chewbacca reuniting, other highlights included previous Jimmy Kimmel guest 7-year-old Arden Hayes besting the Force Awakens cast at Star Wars trivia; cast members talking about their audition process; and Abrams revealing that the first word we’ll hear in The Force Awakens is “This.”

In case you’ve somehow avoided the media blitz, Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters Dec. 18.

Jimmy Kimmel Live: The Star Wars Special re-airs in primetime Nov. 25 at 10pm ET on ABC.
