Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard are teaming up to spread cheer, goodwill and holiday magic in Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays, an all-new music and variety special airing Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 9pm ET/PT on FOX.

The special will feature a special duet by Henson and Howard, and modern performances of classic holiday songs by entertainment superstars Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Jamie Foxx. The special also promises other surprise guests and performances, so hopefully we’ll see performances from Henson and Howard’s talented Empire co-stars, Bryshere Y. Gray, Jussie Smollett and Trai Byers.

Empire’s fall finale airs Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 9pm ET/PT on FOX. Empire will take a hiatus to make room for the final season of American Idol before returning on Wednesday, March 30 at 9pm ET/PT for part two of its second season.

Grease: Live soundtrack to be released Jan. 31

The Grease: Live Official Soundtrack Album will be available digitally Sunday, Jan. 31, at 7pm ET/PT, coinciding with the start of the three-hour live event on FOX. A special pre-order at the iTunes Store has launched, and includes the option to download Jessie J’s rendition of “Grease (Is the Word),” the classic tune written by Barry Gibb. In addition to the digital release, Target has the exclusive CD package with four bonus tracks, which will be released on Friday, March 4.
