NFL Network covers Brett Favre’s induction into Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame

Legendary quarterback Brett Favre is being inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame on Saturday, July 18, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and NFL Network will be on hand to cover the event. (According to the Packers’ website, the induction is a private ceremony taking place in the Lambeau Field Atrium, and it will be aired on “TundraVision” for the fans in the seating bowl; not sure if NFL Network will be airing what the fans see, or if the network has direct access to the ceremony.)

Leading up to the induction itself at 9pm ET, NFL Network will feature several hours of Favre-related programming, so you’ll (almost) be seeing more of No. 4 than even Jenn Sterger has. Included in the day of programming will be some of Brett Favre’s classic games as Packers QB, including his win in Super Bowl XXXI over the New England Patriots, and the famous 2003 Monday night game against the Raiders following the death of his father, where Favre dominated.

  1. Kurt, have you been living in a cave these last 20 years? Fabre just acted terribly during the espy awards. This dude will never change. Absolute disgrace to those who played football.

    Babe Ruth…..really?

  2. Sorry, but I don’t think he deserves this. This guy was a horrible example to generations of our youth with the way he behaved on and off the field.

    Nope, he don’t deserve it.

    • Larry, you are way off base here. Brett Favre made mistakes just like all of us make mistakes. But, in addition to all the ALL TIME records he set for THE MOST IMPORTANT POSITION IN FOOTBALL, many of the things he did on the field and off the field were examples of personal triumph over adversity, physical and mental toughness, and a childlike love and passion for the game that will go unmatched. He was the last of the old era, and one of the players that other players and fans from other teams enjoyed watching most. He is a sure fire first ballot hall of famer as well. How can you possibly allow a word vomit statement like that come out of your mouth? Take your head and remove it from your backside you moron. He doesn’t deserve to have his number retired? You are possibly the biggest idiot on the internet today, idiot.

  3. he deserves the best!!! He had every right to continue playing and the Packers tried to prevent it happening !! He proved he still had “it” / one play from putting Vikings in Super Bowl despite Saints trying to “hurt” the toughest player to put on a uniform!!!!!!!
