The Open Championship: British Open 2015 TV Schedule on ESPN

UPDATE: Due to weather delays, the final round of The Open Championship will be played Monday on ESPN. On Sunday, ESPN’s coverage of the third round begins at 7am ET. Final round coverage begins Monday at 6am ET on ESPN. A rebroadcast of the final round airs Monday at 7pm ET on ESPN2.

Golf’s third major of the year, The Open Championship (or “British Open”) tees off early Thursday, July 16, on the hallowed ground of the Old Course at St. Andrews in Scotland. Defending champion Rory McIlroy will miss the tournament after suffering an ankle injury while playing a pickup soccer game. Top contenders now are Masters and U.S. Open champion Jordan Spieth, Henrik Stenson, Bubba Watson, Jim Furyk and Justin Rose. ESPN airs all four rounds through Sunday. All coverage is also available online and through mobile devices on WatchESPN. ESPN3 features four different viewing options, including a Featured Players feed that will follow the Jordan Spieth/Dustin Johnson/Hideki Matsuyama group in the early morning, followed by the Henrik Stenson/Phil Mickelson/Matt Kuchar group.
