NETFLIX ORIGINALS

Knights of Sidonia (Season 1 now streaming;  Season 2 available July 3) — The mecha manga series continues.

Chris Tucker Live (Available July 10) — Chris Tucker headlines his first full length stand-up comedy special.

BoJack Horseman (Season 1 now streaming; Season 2 available July 17) — Will Arnett voices BoJack, the legendary 90’s sitcom star, who has been trying to find his way through a muddle of self-loathing, whisky and failed relationships.  Now starring in his dream movie (a biopic of Secretariat), but humbled by the events of last season, BoJack attempts to use his career second wind as a stepladder to a springboard to becoming a newer, better BoJack. But new challenges on set and in his personal life, and the demons of his past make it difficult to shake off the skin of his previous self.

Tig (Available July 17) — “Good evening. Hello. I have cancer.” Comedian Tig Notaro used those words to open her stand-up set at Largo in Los Angeles in August 2012. Defiantly funny in the face of devastating news, Tig’s now legendary performance came at the end of a tumultuous four-month period that included both the loss of her mother and her subsequent breast cancer diagnosis. “Tig” is about how she found herself on that stage in that moment, and what happened next. Intimate, funny and illuminating, the film offers a revealing look at how Tig put her life together just at the moment it all seemed to fall apart.

Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (Available July 31, pictured at top) — From the filmmakers that brought the original 2001 cult classic, this is the hilarious prequel to the film starring the entire original cast in addition to an all-star lineup of new cast members. Cast includes Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Elizabeth Banks, Janeane Garafalo, Michael Ian Black, Nina Hellman, Joe LoTruglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, David Hyde Pierce, Marisa Ryan, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter. The series consists of eight half-hour episodes.

  1. When is season 3 of Violetta coming on Netflix. I have seen season 1 and 2 at least 5 times or more. So i hope season 3 is coming soon this year!!!!!

    • I watched both seasons and now I’m watching them again I really hope season 3 comes on netflix soon I want to see what happens with Violetta and Leon

      • I don’t know, but I really hope it’s soon! I hope Leon and Violetta stay together, though. It would break my heart to see them have more problems! But at the same time, problems are inevitable cuz it’s a TV show. SO MANY MIXED EMOTIONS UGH

        • I wish they add season 3 asap I called netflix 6 times asking them when their going to add the 3rd season of Violetta and I got no answers they just told to that they were gonna request it.

  2. Super-excited about Wet Hot American Summer and The Guest! I use PureVPN to unblock Netflix from my country. PureVPN helps me unblock ALL Netflix versions from 20 different countries. I now have access to 14,000+ unique movie titles, thanks to PureVPN!
