5 Questions with Breeda Wool, who keeps the “Faith” in Lifetime’s UnREAL

However tempted you might be to feel sorry for Faith, the painfully insecure, churchly tomboy virgin on Lifetime’s Monday night The Bachelor sendup UnREAL, actress Breeda Wool, who plays her, hopes you’ll take a page from “Everlasting” suitor Adam’s playbook and have a little faith in Faith.

“I’m very inexperienced at dating in general,” Wool explains of her character’s fish-out-of-water nature (secrets are looming!) — which makes her a natural target for Everlasting’s pitiless producers and her fellow contestants. “My grandmother, church and little country community really pushed me to go on the show so I could blossom as a woman. And I thought maybe I’d be able to bring back some rich prince to show my community I’m not as awkward as they all think I am!”

We asked Wool to give some love to our “5 Questions.”

1) If your TV carried just three shows or networks, what would they be?
HBO, Roseanne and The Robin Byrd Show. And, of course, UnREAL.

2) Tell us about a time when you were starstruck.
I completely melted when I met John Lithgow. It was like when a puppy is so excited to see you that they just crumble on the floor and wet themselves. I just hunched over in an uncontrollable giggle and put my arms out for him to pet me. He gave me a really big hug and then looked at me and said, “Do I know you?” and I just muttered “You’re so great,” over and over. He’s a beautiful actor.

3) What are three things you have to have in your fridge or pantry?
Vegenaise, Annie’s boxed macaroni and cheese, and coconut oil.

4) What did your parents hope you’d be when you grew up?
I think my parents wanted me to unabashedly pursue my dreams, whatever those dreams might have been. They’re big proponents of fearlessly carving out your own path. Secretly, though, I think my dad wanted me to be a polymer physicist. I went into college as a physics and theater major! He loved it.

5) What’s your own reality television guilty pleasure?
I totally got into “Flavor of Love.” Flava Flaaaaave!

See Breeda in UnREAL airing Monday nights at 10/9CT on Lifetime.
