2015 CMT Music Awards nominations announced

This morning, CMT announced the nominations for the 2015 CMT Music Awards, which will air live from Nashville June 10 at 8pm on the network. Performers, presenters and host will be announced at a later date. (UPDATE 5/29/15: Erin Andrews and Brittany Snow have been announced as hosts.)

Carrie Underwood leads the way with five nominations, including two for Video of the Year (“Something in the Water” and “Somethin’ Bad” with Miranda Lambert), two for Female Video of the Year (“Little Toy Guns” and “Something in the Water”) and Collaborative Video of the Year (“Somethin’ Bad” with Miranda Lambert).

Lady Antebellum and Kenny Chesney are just behind Underwood, with four nominations each.

Fan voting is open now at CMT.com or on a mobile device, and continues until June 8 at 10am ET. The six finalists for Video of the Year will be announced at the beginning of the live show, and fans can then vote at CMT.com, CMT mobile and via text message throughout the live telecast (ET/CT only) to determine the night’s big winner.

UPDATE 5/19/15: The first performers for the 2015 CMT Music Awards have been announced: Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum and Luke Bryan.

UPDATE 6/2/15: Eric Church, Jake Owen, Sam Hunt and Zac Brown Band have been added to the list of performers.

UPDATE 6/4/15: More performers have been announced: A Thousand Horses, Chris Janson, Frankie Ballard, Kelsea Ballerini, Maddie and Tae, and RaeLynn.

UPDATE 6/8/15: Reba will perform at the CMT Music Awards after 10 years. Also announced: Zedd will team with Lady Antebellum for a performance, while Darius Rucker will give an outdoor performance.
