This morning, Hallmark Channel announced that it has renewed its Emmy-nominated daily lifestyle program, Home & Family for a Fourth Season. Emmy winner Mark Steines & New York Times Bestselling author Cristina Ferrare host the series, which features experts who provide tips, trips, recipes and how-tos. These “family members” include lifestyle expert Debbie Matenopoulos, Hollywood beauty specialist Kym Douglas, healthy living advocate Sophie Uliano, design expert Paige Hemmis, DIY expert Tanya Memme, medical expert Matt Iseman, garden coach Shirley Bovshow, chef Fabio Viviani, decorator Ken Wingard, dog trainer Laura Nativo, pediatrician Dr. J.J. Levenstein, family man Matt Rogers, financial advisor Jeanette Pavini and renegade chef Dan Kohler.
Home & Family frequently interviews top celebrities including Florence Henderson, Wolfgang Puck, Melissa Etherage and Tori Spelling and has hosted mini-reunions with the casts of beloved shows including Life Goes On, Dynasty and Knots Landing. The series tapes in its own 2,800 square foot working house at Universal Studios and is the only daily lifestyle series on cable TV to produce and air 52 consecutive weeks of new episodes per year, with 260 original episodes to be produced in season 4.
A member of the H&F team, design Expert Paige Hemmis and musician Jason Short, of the Australian pop/opera music group ARIA, will be married on a very special Home & Family primetime event on Monday, June 22 (8pm ET/PT). In the weeks leading up to the big day, the show’s experts will contribute innovative DIY wedding tips and projects to be incorporated into the wedding and help the bride and groom prepare for their special day.
Home & Family airs Monday through Friday 10am – 12pm ET/PT
