My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding Season 4 preview: You can’t ring my bell….

My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding returns to TLC for a fourth season on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 9/8CT — and in the season premiere, Small-family teen Julie does her (literal) level best not to ring in her Sweet 16 celebration.

In keeping with her ultra traditional family’s customs, Julie will have bells sewn into her lavish party dress. Asked to walk a straight line when she enters the festivities, Julie’s dress must stay perfectly quiet as a sign of her purity or she’ll face the wrath of her grandma Tils. And from the looks of it, you do not want to get on the wrong side of Grandma Tils. <Snap!>

Also in the season opener, a Greek gypsy woman’s Sondra Celli dream dress is so enormous that the experienced designer comes up with an equally over-the-top way to get the blinged-up bride to the church on time.

Also on the docket for the new season: Sixteen-year-old party girl Chelsey’s controlling mom tries to force her to marry her own third cousin, and protective mamas clash as 23-year-old Kody weds his former babysitter Danielle, who’s 33. Plus, sisters Brittany and Kalynn are back, this time hoping to pull off a huge double wedding despite family tensions — and, in what is sure to be the highlight of the season, the notorious Stanley clan marries off one of its own. Or tries, anyway. We’ll believe it when we see it.

And yes, there’s plenty of punches thrown, too.

My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding Season 4 also delves into other rarely seen, traditional gypsy rituals and customs, including a purification ceremony and a “Veil of Darkness” wedding ritual that we’re hoping has nothing to do with Yu-Gi-Oh!

And as always, there ‘s our favorite part of the series — those jaw-dropping Sondra Celli creations.
