  1. I’ve watched BJ for years, never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pure Greed,
Barrett Jackson and Velocity can just suck it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. So sad over not being able to watch Barrett Jackson I’ve been watching it for years. Can anyone tell me what happened to speed channel?

  3. SASK..CANADA- my husband and myself have enjoyed watching and guessing what we think each vehicle will sell for… we really liked it when more trucks were shown on air… your show helps the cold evening go by faster… until this year…we are very disappointed on your choices to change channels…. we do not get velocity . so DISAPPOINTED. please reverse your decision and bring it back to SPEED!

  4. Why would you ever put the BarrettJackson car auction on a channel that no gets? That’s irresponsible!

    • Due to Barret Jackson greed;I had to order the velocity channel which cost me 14.00 amonth.Plus previous auctions on a different pay channel costing 4.00 amonth.Barret Jackson is becoming too expensive to watch. That’s ashame

  5. So MAD I usually watch Barrett Jackson on TV if I can’t attend an now find that I can’t because of their decision to change channels. What way to treat all of us that so enjoy watching. Even if I had to pay additional charges just for the few das I wouldn’t because I would be paying for a channel I wouldn’t use I the future. Think this was a bad move on BJ part.

    • It’s on, but for a price! I called Cox, our cable co. And was told I had to “move up a to the next tier, and get a “box” . Your kidding, right? Everyday man has to ante’ up. We just can’t do it. Ill husband was very sad to hear that we are now excluded from one of his great joys. We used to go to the show itself, but he can’t do that anymore. When we retired from Chicago, where we watched it,yearly, we were happy to enjoy the West World Auction. Hope next year some changes will be made for “the guy who can’t go”, or change cable situation . Jan&Spence Simonic, Scottsdale

  6. Fantasy what? The best part taken away from us TV viewers that may never be able to afford to really take part in the real event. Shame on you B. J. Now channels changed and viewers can not view, its amazing how the almighty dollar rules!

  7. It’s a sad day when car lovers are able to receive only 6 hours of coverage of the 2015 Scottsdale auction. Bad deal for switching chanels. Also, the over-inflated prices of your auction has ruined the average guy from
even buying a fixer-upper. Only for the rich and famous. Enjoy your
mega wealth as you alienate the “lower class” by not allowing the people the small pleasure of watching and enjoying the show. Like someone
said on a previous post: In the future Barrett–Who?
BAD MOVE…..Lost a lot of respect for B-J.

  8. BRING IT BACK TO CHANNELS THAT MOST PEOPLE GET OR YOU HAVE LOST A LARGE PORTION OF YOUR VEIWING AUDIENCE.THIS REALLY SUCKED THIS YEAR.HAVE WATCHED THE AUCTION FOR MANY YEARS BUT NOT THIS YEAR.BJ YOU REALLY SCREWED UP CHANGING TO CHANNELS HARDLY ANY GETS.

    • i agree with the other people on you should have air coverage on just one channel & not switching to another channel. i’m suppose to get the velocity channel only to find out its not programed in my receiver so now a tech has to come out on tuesday to fix the problem. not your fault but now i cant watch anymore of the show. maybe next year i wont even bother tuning in to see your show at all unless it is on one channel. it seems like one TV station would be glad to air your show to have us car nuts watch it on their channel. I am not happy at all with this mess.

  9. Popcorn ready, all set up for our annual auction and WE DON’T GET the channel any more. How disappointing!

  10. this sucks big time cant watch it at all, thanks a lot for screwing with something that was just fine where it was at

  11. I USED TO WATCH BARRETT JACKSON ON TV. NOT ANYMORE. CHANGING OVER TO VELOCITY CHANNEL WAS A BIG MISTAKE. FEWER PEOPLE GET THAT CHANNEL ON THEIR CABLE NETWORK. FEWER PEOPLE WILL BE WATCHING THIS YEAR. BAD DECISION FROM BARRETT JACKSON MANAGEMENT TO MOVE AWAY FROM PREVIOUS CHANNEL THEY WERE ON. BIG MISTAKE, BIG MISTAKE.

  12. MY WIFE AND I PLAN ON GOING TO SCOTTSDALE TO ATTEND THE AUCTION THIS WEEKEND, HAVE ENJOYED WATCHING IT ON TV CABLE THIS YEAR, THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THE AUCTION ON VELOCITY

  13. I AM ENJOYING YOUR BROADCAST OF BARRETT JACKSON AUTO AUCTION ON MY CABLE NETWORK. MY WIFE AND I ARE PLANNING TO DRIVE TO SCOTTSDALE OVER THE WEEKEND TO ATTEND, I HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOUR BROADCAST FOR THE PAST YEARS AND ENJOY SEEING ALL THE CARS , BOATS ,CYCLES AND ALL THE OTHERS THIHGS THAT ARE GOING ON THERE. (LOOKING FORWARD TO BEING THERE IN PERSON )

  14. I also disagree with the Tv Channels this years show is on. The auction might be on Discovery, which most cable companies provide to their subscribers, but Discovery only has a small portion of the total airtime. Velocity has most of the airtime. Velocity is a channel very few people that are a fan of Barrett Jackson can receive on their cable systems, or dish for that matter, without paying more money per month. I guess when the “interest” in the auction goes down and less people go to the auction and even less can watch it, it will only be then that the decision makers will wake up to the fact that less viewers equal less interest= less money. Its all about the money, and this latest decision to air on Velocity will be the downfall of Barrett Jackson. People will not care anymore and move on. In the future it will be Barrett who?

  15. I live in L.A. California and I have enjoyed your auction for years with my dad. He and I would watch every hour and talk about his old times in many of the cars we saw. Now, my dad has passed on and I guess your auction has as well. I looked for it and my cable company does not carry velocity and the discovery portion did not air at all. I would love to watch your auction but I can’t. I hope you change this in the future.

    • Hello John, So sorry about your dad. You were very fortunate to be able to share your love for cars with him. I wanted to let you know that my husband and I FINALLY dumped COMCAST and had Direct TV installed. We have never had a dish and thought about it for quite a while. Many of our neighbors have it which encouraged us to try. Also, we were so sick of constant crashes and reboots, lousy customer service, poor equipment and rate increases two or three times per year. We are classic car collectors and never miss an auction and we’re loving Velocity’s coverage. Perhaps you should insist that your cable carry this great channel or drop them and try DIRECT TV. We are so sorry that we didn’t make this decision 2 years ago when we bought our new home. Again, so sorry for your loss and good luck with finding a way to watch the auctions. btw

  16. Your move to the Discovery &Velocity Channels is about as irresponsible and in-considerate move to all the people watching for years on Speed and other channels! There are many people and older watchers that don’t get the new channels and can’t afford the cost for them per month! That is one reason why we are NOT attended this years event and will pass it on to others. Many in our area in Tucson are very upset and also will not attend. It’s obvious you have your own agenda and you have become centered on your own personal gains and not of your loyal fans?

  17. Thanks a lot!!!! Because ESPN is no longer involved with the broadcast of the auction, I won’t be able to watch, or participate with it this year. My cable provider doesn’t carry velocity, and discovery only carries a small part of it. I don’t wish bad things on anyone, but if you don’t make as much money this year as in the past, I won’t feel bad about it. Get your act together so that every one can enjoy the auction!

  18. Ryan, I have really enjoyed your weekly commentaries on the reality show Alaskan Bush People. You are one hilarious guy. I have a question for you about authenticity. I recently read where the oldest of the boys is married and has a child. And also..they have cell phones…..which is smart considering they are out in never-never land..but the whole take is supposed to be “off grid, out in the wild”, five single men, etc., correct? These reality shows are… “UNREAL”… pardon the pun.
The American public is not deserving of the charade.

    • Aw, thanks, Sherry! Appreciated.
I had not heard about Matt’s rumored wife and child. Could you tell me where you saw/heard about it?
You’re smart to understand that this is a TV show and someone is determining what you see and what you don’t. Love ’em or loathe ’em, real or fake, there’s entertainment value to be had here.
