Who’s Performing on New Year’s Eve TV?

Put on your dancing shoes, or even your party sweats! This year’s hottest New Year’s events promise performances from the world’s biggest stars to enjoy as the backdrop for your own wild NYE bash or from the quiet comfort of your couch. Let’s go around the dial and check out the night’s lineups.

New Year's EveABC — Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2015
It’s more than a mouthful of a title — it’s an event chock full of music’s biggest stars! The night boasts Times Square performances by Florida Georgia Line, Magic!, Idina Menzel and headliner Taylor Swift in the annual bash hosted by Ryan Seacrest. Jenny McCarthy will report live from amid Times Square revelers and Fergie will host and perform from Hollywood, where she will be joined by chart-toppers including Train, Charli XCX, Iggy Azalea, Bastille, One Direction, Jason Derulo and Meghan Trainor. Performing live from Nashville are Lady Antebellum presented by Nashville’s Charles Esten, and Gavin DeGraw. And just after the ball drops, Elton John will perform live from his concert in Brooklyn.

New Year's EveCNN — New Year’s Eve With Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin
TV news anchor and dreamy silver fox Anderson Cooper tries to contain TV’s most unpredictable redhead, but whenever Kathy Griffin is allowed into a party, something outrageous is bound to happen. The twosome will cohost from Times Square as CNN personalities Brooke Baldwin and Don Lemon report live from New Orleans; Gary Tuchman is in Easton, Md., for the crab drop; Pamela Brown visits Memphis’ Beale Street for the guitar drop; and Richard Quest is on a cruise ship in the Bahamas.

New Year's EveFOX — Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution
One of the most charismatic performers on the planet, Pitbull, a.k.a. Armando Christian Pérez, is heading to his hometown of Miami for the world’s hottest New Year’s celebration. The event will feature performances by Enrique Iglesias, Fall Out Boy, Fifth Harmony, The Band Perry and Becky G, with Pitbull performing his biggest hits throughout the night. And since nearly every song that “Mr. Worldwide” drops rises to the top of the charts (including his current hit Time of our Lives, this special will transform any room into a massive party.  It may be cold in the Big Apple, but “The Pineapple” will be en fuego!

 

 

FOX News Channel — All-American New Year
Cohosts Kimberly Guilfoyle, Bob Beckel, Lisa “Kennedy” Montgomery, Anna Kooiman and Jesse Watters will ring in 2015 live from Times New Year's EveSquare. FNC senior correspondent Rick Leventhal will report on the safety and security of New Year’s Eve celebrations across the city and FNC contributors Bernard McGurik and Joanne Nosuchinsky will report from within Times Square’s crowd. During the program, viewers will be encouraged to tweet their New Year’s resolutions using the hashtag #foxnews2015. The FOX News Facebook page will also offer viewers the opportunity to vote on their favorite music video of 2014.

MTV — MTV’s NYE 2015
Eye Candy star Victoria Justice and Charlamagne of Guy Code will host MTV’s pop culture wrap-up live from Times Square. The hour-long special will also feature the comedians of Girl Code and Guy Code dishing about what made 2014 unforgettable. The special will also feature an exclusive sneak peek of MTV’s new series Broke A$$ Game Show.

New Year's EveNBC — New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly
The Voice host will celebrate the arrival of 2015 from Times Square with performances from Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Seth MacFarlane, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. Actors Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, host of Who Wants to be a Millionaire) and Ken Marino (Marry Me), as well as superstar model Chrissy Teigen will join the festivities.

PBS — Live From Lincoln Center: New York Philharmonic New Year’s Eve: Gershwin Celebration With Dianne Reeves
Continuing a broadcasting tradition, Live From Lincoln Center presents the annual New York Philharmonic’s New Year’s Eve celebration concert. This year’s gala rings in 2015 with George Gershwin favorites, featuring Dianne Reeves and Norm Lewis. Bramwell Tovey conducts.

New Year's EvePBS — Michael Feinstein’s New Year’s Eve At The Rainbow Room
Energetic performer Michael Feinstein recaptures the heyday of the glamorous New York nightclubs as he hosts a celebration from high atop 30 Rockefeller Plaza in newly restored Rainbow Room. Guests include Darren Criss (Glee), Aaron Tveit (Graceland), Leslie Odom Jr. (Smash), Broadway star Kelli O’Hara, nightclub legend Marilyn Maye, Tony winner Christine Ebersole and 17-year-old America’s Got Talent contestant Julia Goodwin.
