The first CBS Sports Classic college basketball event takes place Saturday, Dec. 20, at the United Center in Chicago. The event features some of college hoops’ most competitive and storied teams. Things tip off at 1pm ET on CBS as the No. 24 North Carolina Tar Heels take on the No. 12 Ohio State Buckeyes. Following that game, at 3pm ET on CBS, the UCLA Bruins face the No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats.

David Letterman’s final “Late Show” hosting date announced
CBS and Worldwide Pants Incorporated, David Letterman’s production company, announced today that Letterman will host his final broadcast of Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Leslie Moonves, president and CEO of the CBS Corporation, said in a release, “David Letterman has given to all of us a remarkable legacy of achievement and creative brilliance that will never be forgotten. It’s going to be tough to say goodbye, but I know we will all cherish the shows leading up to Dave’s final broadcast in May.” Letterman is the longest-tenured late-night talk show host at over 32 years.
