Channel Guide readers name Sleepy Hollow TV’s Best Drama

Sleepy Hollow, the freshman series from FOX, now in its second season, took top Drama honors in the 2014 Viewers Voice Awards, as it did in our Most Chilling/Creepiest Series category. We recently talked to the star of the series, Tom Mison, who shared a secret ritual he does to slip into his character of Ichabod Crane. “No one in the world knows this,” Mison said, dropping his voice a bit conspiratorially. “I have a little Sleepy Hollow playlist on a day when the wig and coat are not enough, and that playlist helps a lot.” He listens to Tom Waits — because who screams “Revolutionary Era” more than the gravelly voiced singer? “I am a huge fan,” Mison said of Waits. “I have been lobbying the producers when we reveal the third apocalypse, ‘Please can we have Tom Waits?’”
