“Signed, Sealed, Delivered” moving to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries as movie franchise

Hallmark Channel’s original scripted series Signed Sealed Delivered will be moving to sister network Hallmark Movies & Mysteries (formerly Hallmark Movie Channel) as a movie franchise consisting of a series of two-hour original films, it was announced today. The first film, Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas, premieres Nov. 23 at 9pm ET/PT. Three more movies in the franchise are slated for 2015.

“We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with [creator and executive producer] Martha Williamson and to bring her brand of rich and poignant stories to viewers on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries,” said Michelle Vicary, executive vice president, programming and network publicity, Crown Media Family Networks, in a release.

“When Bill Abbott and Michelle Vicary asked if I can evolve the Signed Sealed Delivered franchise into a series of movies, I was honored to continue the Hallmark tradition of quality family movies,” said Martha Williamson in the release.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered is a comedic drama following the lives of a group of postal workers who transform themselves into an untraditional team of detectives to track down intended recipients of undeliverable mail. Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson star. Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will introduce viewers to the characters with a marathon of the series airing Oct. 11 from 11am-11pm ET/PT.

  5. Absolutely love this series!!!! I purchased the original series and have watched it multiple times. I am very sad that it is not going to be continuing as a series and just as movies. I am also disappointed that I can’t seem to get the original pilot nor the newest movie on DVD. What’s up with that? I really would like to have a full collection of this series.

  6. Ok … So I finally found a schedule on your website giving a day & time to watch Signed, Sealed, Delivered – Paris. The website says it will replay this movie on Tuesday (7/28) at 4:00pm central time. I went to the guide on my tv to record the movie & it does not appear in the lineup on that day & time, nor does it appear any day or time in the entire week! I really would love to see this movie! Can you help me find it???

  7. My husband and I were disappointed when we found out that you were putting the show on a different channel that we don’t get and that it is going to be a movie. We had been waiting and hoping for the show to come back on. You crushed all that.

    • I agree totally with EVERYTHING everyone else is saying! I have been waiting & waiting for this series to come back on the Hallmark channel. I finally did some research and found out you changed the network it would air on and that the series has tuned into a few 2-hr movies. Well … I missed the 1st movie already. Can’t get it on demand. Can’t find any schedule to find out when the next movie will be and I don’t watch the Hallmark Movie & Mysteries channel enough to see the advertisements! I am extremely disappointed in this move by Hallmark! I have told every person I know how wonderful this show is! You have lost viewership in thus move!!!

  8. Got hooked on this show right away. Great cast writing and stories but it needs to back in series. Bringing it back in a movie format just wont satisfy. Although we wont miss a movie. I hope hallmark reconsiders it’s decision and returns it to series format.

  9. I love this series! In this world of “reality” television this show is an
absolute breath of fresh air! The cast and writing are fantastic and though I do get the Hallmark Movie Channel the occasional movie is just not the same. Please consider doing both the series and some movie specials.

  10. Disappointed! I love this show. There’s nothing on television these days for families. Please bring it back. Movies take too long. This is good wholesome family time.

  12. I am sooo disappointed that the Signed, Sealed, Delivered show is not continuing on the Hallmark Channel. It was a great series. That was one of the few shows on TV that I would make it a point to watch. I don’t get the Mysteries and Movies channel and cannot afford to get it. Please return this show or these movies to the regular Hallmark Channel!

  13. I am not sure that i get Hallmark Movie Channel on my current lineup. But for those who do not get this channel, how will they be able to view this great show? If it is on my lineup, what channel number is it located? Send me a e-mail and let me know please. Thank You.

  14. I to am disappointed to have the series move to a different channel. I love the Hallmark Channel and you switching the Signed, Sealed & Delivered to a hallmark mysteries channel sucks. I already pay to get the channels I have, I can’t afford to pay more to download it. Think about the fans of the show and put the movie series on the regular Hallmark channel so all can watch.

  15. Please, please, please!!!! Return, Signed, Sealed,& delivered wiith the same cast, PLEASE!!!!! Such great actors!!! Love them, love the stories, etc.!!!!
We need MORE programs like this. I stay home just to watch this show!!!
Please don’t disappoint us !!!! Love you so much!!!!! God Bless You!!!

  16. I agree with the comments above. I am extremely disappointed to find out that a program I enjoyed in the past will no longer be available to me. I have always commended Hallmark Channel with high quality, wholesome and interesting programs, something that is sadly lacking in many of the network programs. I do hope that Cedar Cove and When Calls the Heart will continue to be on this channel, two of my favorite series.

  17. I am glad we will get to see the awesome cast in the future, however, I am terribly disappointed at the channel change and move to a movie series. This show was engaging, wholesome, humorous, dramatic, and was something I could watch with all extended family members. I looked forward to seeing these characters each week during the season it aired.

I am concerned that many of the show’s fans who are not active in social media will not be able to find the movies and will think the show they came to love was simply abandoned. And sadly, many fans will not have access to the new channel.

This show has an incredible, quirky cast with great actors. It’s a shame to make it merely a movie series.

  18. Thank you so much Hallmark for getting me hooked on this show when it originally aired on your regular channel and then moving it to a channel I can’t get. Smh.
