truTV announces “Impractical Jokers” spinoff “Jokers Wild”

At the Television Critics Association (TCA) Summer Press Tour, truTV announced that it will be following up its hugely successful prank show Impractical Jokers with a new spinoff series called Jokers Wild, slated to premiere Sept. 25 at 10pm ET/PT.

In Jokers Wild, Sal, Q, Murr and Joe of Impractical Jokers will, according to truTV, “take viewers on a wild ride, going beyond the pranks for a comical look at their personal lives. Everyone can relate to disastrous dates, embarrassing habits and humiliating childhood memories, but only the Jokers can one-up each other in such colorful, authentic and hilariously awkward ways. In front of a live studio audience, the four guys dive head-first into their respective romantic histories, pet peeves and more, while introducing clips that further illustrate their varying views of the world.”

truTV has ordered six episodes of Jokers Wild.

Jokers Wild premieres Sept. 25 at 10pm ET/PT on truTV.

  1. I love “Impractical Jokers” but this new show “Jokers Wild”, is terrible. It’s not funny, just really lame. I’m not even sure what it’s supposed to be. It tries to come off as some kind of sketch comedy show but…

  2. Hi guys, I love each of you the same. I have enjoyed all of your hilarious episodes no matter who came out on top. I laugh til my stomach reminds me that I actually do have muscles, ( it hurts that bad) . But I would rather see more of Impractical Jokers than Jokers wild. I think I like to see the interaction of the public when they don’t know they are being snookered . I will keep watching but would appreciate more of the usual anics! Thanks guys, I love you all. Keep them coming! Barbara
